Back in 1956, Craftwood Lumber opened its doors for business. At that time, we carried a limited selection of hobby and specialty woods. Business was not exactly booming. The owner at that time decided to become a full service lumberyard, and business expanded nicely. As you might expect, customers started asking for more and more different items, and Craftwood was able to add items one at a time. In 1998, we absorbed a nearby hardware business to increase our expertise and product offering for our customers. At this time we also changed our name from Craftwood Lumber Company to Craftwood Lumber & Hardware. Our mission is to have the best employees available at any time of day to help you with any project or problem that you have - big or small.
